Not sure about that, this is probably how her last ride with those two hammers was supposed to go, but she got that mechanical which was her handicap. So stats from then are misleading as to future performance, and I feel she is right where she ought to be. She has moved onto the podium of uber bikers in ironman, rightfully so I think too.
Current Hawi conditions: Temp 81°, wind E 16 mph, gusts to 18 mph.
What is the open-walled “bottle” on the underside of LCB’s BTA setup? Is it gel storage, i.e. serving the role of a bento but in bottle position?
This last split clearly a net positive for Knibb, as she gained 30 sec, Lovseth lost 15, and the other favourites lost over 40 seconds!

I think that probably has more to do with the incline than truly closing. It’ll most likely accordian back out when Lucy crests the hill first.
I want to strangle these announcers, every time since the start of the bike every group is hammering huge power, closing gaps, and riding like the wind. Meanwhile the clock says that no one has closed any time, in fact other than Taylor everyone has lost time since waters edge on Lucy. Well 90% of our bingo cards just got a dot, Sodaro out of the race..
