I doubt it this is not her first rodeo and she’s not blown up yet, the question for me is Kat and Laura, are they taking it easy as it looks to me the race is getting away from both of them..

I’m expecting Matthews to do so too (and maybe she just thought Loevseth went too hard). Bear in mind that she gained maybe 3 minutes on Knibb in the second half of Texas and broke away from Philipp in the last hour of Hamburg (but <1 min gap there)

Super impressed Holly will be top 5 coming into Hawi. Also Lee with another solid start, she is so up and down it’s hard to know which we’ll get but looks like it could be an on day for her.

Knibb looks pretty close to LCB
Not sure if it has been mentioned in here but just seen Anne Reischmann announced she’s pregnant. Still racing but not “competing”. Sat in 32nd place at the 81km checkpoint.
I said it upthread, but I think Kat is too pressured to stay with her. Without that mechanical last time around, we probably see this exact same thing on the bike back then. Kind of a false flag to think Kat and Laura can ride with her all things equal.
