Whamageddon!

I"m done…eliminated at a vacation resort. My wife laughed hysterically at me.

I’m out. The kids insist on listening to Christmas radio anytime we are in the car. Managed maybe an hour total air time before they played it.

Still in, which is amazing as my wife turns her satellite radio to Christmas music about Halloween time.

Heard it yesterday in the car.

Lasted an extra day because the night before I heard it in the grocery store, but it was a cover (some female singer…I do not know who)

Since this is an official rule, I’m still in.

=> Only the original version applies.

Jimmy Fallon‘s music game show had one of the contestants singing it. Unless something inadvertent happens, I should be in for a long time because I don’t listen to Christmas music generally.

I’m not sure I remember what the song sounds like. I heard it in the Sexy Thread, but it didn’t sink in. I don’t know if I will recognize it again. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

I’m still in. Haven’t heard it yet.

Although the Howard Stern Show plays a cover of his theme song (Rob Zombie’s “Great American Nightmare”) but done as Wham’s “Last Christmas.” Imagine George Michael singing Last Christmas but the lyrics are Great American Nightmare. It’s actually well done. I can’t find audio of it.

Still in but had a scare. Listening to Apple Music and Careless Whisper came on, took me about 30 seconds to realize it was the wrong song. Then I spent a few minutes wonder how the hell Wham! is in my music algorithm.

Clearly, your apple device is spying on your internet (specifically LR) history.

Or it came from your Boy George and Cyndi Lauper playlist.

yeah, dipped my toe into the different 80’s stations too many times. Although, Careless Whisper was followed up with John Prine’s Angel of Montgomery so my pallet has been cleansed.

Stay safe, stay vigilante.

I heard it the other night in some sappy Hallmark movie. Thankfully due to the technicality of it being a cover I am still in.

Now have 2 points in WHAMHunter. It was playing in the airport bathroom.

My travel plans for the week took me through 4 different airports. Three of them looked perfectly normal, but the Albuquerque airport looks like Christmas got sick and threw up everywhere.

I’m dead - I got hit by the last 30 seconds in Target

D’Kid exclaimed “DAD!!! ‘Whamageddon!!!’”

Since it was the outro, and shitty speakers, I didn’t even recognize it, as I never heard the “Last Christmas, I gave you my heart” chorus

Still, I’m dead — Or maybe only seriously wounded?

Tough call, because you didn’t recognize it, I’m leaning toward severely wounded but still in the fight.

“Last Christmas, I gave you my heart” chorus

This has been going through my head for days now. I’m thiscloseto pulling up the video on YouTube and watching it.

Whamacide?

I was also victimized in an airport just now. Thoughts and prayers to all who suffer.

I’m in the same boat. I haven’t heard it, yet it’s in my head every day thinking about it. There’s an argument for WHAMacide to get it over with.

Stupid challenge. The 100/100 was less painful

Just got WHAM!'ed… walked into my HR manager’s office and it was on.

Only my son survives now in our family group- my daughter’s boyfriend did a murder/suicide with a reel last week and my wife heard in the dentist office yesterday. Last year the boy and I went the full distance.

Still in. My wife and son were decorating the Christmas tree in another room over the weekend. Apparently it came on twice while they were listening to some Sirius XM Christmas channel.

I had headphones on while playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 so heard nothing over the din of gunshots, grenades, and cries of the players I vanquished.
