RIP Raul Malo, the lead singer of the Mavericks. Man, I loved his voice.
He died from LMD, a complication from his colon cancer. This hits home because my dad is a colon cancer survivor.
Raul was only 60, my age. I’m overdue for my second colonoscopy. My dad was mid-60’s when he was diagnosed. He had no symptoms, but his doc suggested one. It almost certainly saved his life those decades ago.
I’ll be getting my second one soon.
