Anyone there watching today?
Saw something on Insta about a golf cart rolling into transition over night (no joke!) and damaging some of the pro female bikes!!!
Looks like SL and LS were about 3mins down on the swim, and now up at the from of the bike after 25 miles/41km.
Well, there was a lone swimmer at the front, and then the pack was 2 minutes behind him, so Sam and Lionel were about 1 minute from the main pack.

Looks like we’re going to get another foot-race battle between Lionel and Sam (and Laundry?).
I’m rooting for Lionel, but I think Sam will take it.
Sam and Jackie Herring have sort of disappeared from the tracker?
Saw that too? Issue or DNF?
Side note. 109 pace for Lionel ???

Ironman tracker is now completely messed up. Shows Lionel in 1st and Ari in 2nd…
Sam’s back! Still just in front of Lionel
Just reappeared like magic. 10 seconds ahead of Lionel.
Now it’s 25 seconds. Sam dropping the hammer on Lionel.

Hopefully somebody gets this finish between Sam and Lionel. Going to be a great one.
If tracker is correct Sam running 15s per mile faster than Lionel. With Lionel’s down time from running its still not too bad
